Masterseal 540 waterproofing specifications
Waterproofing is a material that is used to protect the bottom of a surface to reject or resist seepage from liquid material against a coated structure. Waterproofing material.
MasterSeal 540 - Flexible polymer flexible cement slurry
How does the MasterSeal 540 work?
MasterSeal 540 is a two-part prepacked system, consisting of liquid polymer as Part A and powder mixed first as Part B. Two parts in mixing produce fine slurry which can be brushed with perfect bonding for most of the substrate. This product is based on selected resin and synthetic cement.
What makes the MasterSeal 540 a unique solution?
MasterSeal 540 provides toughness and tensile strength through integral fiber reinforcement. Advanced acrylic polymers combined with cement and fine fillers specifically achieve excellent waterproof flexible barrier membranes especially suitable for under tiles.
Recommended use:
MasterSeal 540 is designed to be used as a waterproof membrane that is effective in various types of media. Applications include:
Water-resistant coatings for internal surfaces of water tanks, standing water, reservoirs, plantation boxes etc.
Treat terraces, balconies, kitchen floors & toilets as a sandwich treatment to prevent water entering.
Treat bridges & flyover bridges before using lanes to protect concrete from the entry of rainwater.
What are the benefits of the MasterSeal 540?
Modified by polymer - bond strength enhanced on various concrete substrates, wall boards, cement tarps, masonry, plywood and particle board.
Permeable to moisture - allows the surface to breathe, prevents buildup of moisture in the structure, reduces maintenance.
Flexible - can withstand moderate hair cracking. Bridge cracks up to 1mm wide, reducing maintenance.
Weather resistant - suitable for use in open conditions.
Consistency can be brushed - easily applied with a brush or spray.
Non-toxic - can be applied to the surface in contact with drinking water.
